Security incidents and warnings
What has happened in this stretch of water, and what are the authorities warning about? The reporting centres below are where ships report attacks and suspicious approaches, and most publish their incident records and advisories for free. The NGA’s anti-shipping activity messages go back decades and are the best free historical series of attacks with coordinates. Conflict maps round out the picture where war, rather than crime, is the hazard.
Our own platform, MARA, is on this page too. It is a commercial product and we say so; the free sources above it are what it builds on.
